The main reason dad and I came to visit Barcelona is that it is the city of Gaudi. Both of us love his stuff and neither of us has ever seen it in the stonework and mosaic before. Imagine our joy then to discover that, not only are most of his masterpieces within walking distance of our apartment in Gracia, but also that Gaudi was not the only crazy wonderful architect to work in this city. In fact, some of the surprise buildings we met along our stroll today almost outdid his. Almost.
